Perfect fall hair begins with Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Repair Treatment! #Giveaway

(The Jackson Five Family received a complimentary product sample to help facilitate this reader review and giveaway. However, all opinions are honest and our own. Sponsor is responsible for prize fulfillment)

Brrrr it's a chilly 57 degrees here this morning and fall is definitely in the air! Those crazy summer undone hair days are starting to fade away and it's time for a more polished look. So let's talk about one of my favorite products --the Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Repair Treatment from Pro Naturals.
The Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Repair Treatment from Pro Naturals is perfect for those like me who have overworked, dry, brittle, frizzy hair. This treatment helps to repair damaged hair by strengthening it and smoothing the cuticle to prevent further damage. It also works as a heat protectant and will leave hair looking healthier and shinier when used.
I couldn't go a day without using Moroccan Argan Oil on my hair. It has changed my hair so much and is a staple in my beauty routine. I work a small amount through my damp hair and style as usual. I also love rubbing the left over oil from my hands onto my skin too... it's super moisturizing and smells amazing, leaving my skin soft and smooth. If my hair is really crazy throughout the day I will even use a very small amount on my dry hair to smooth away frizzies.
Today I'm so excited because we are giving YOU the chance to win a bottle of the Pro Naturals Moroccan Argan Oil Hair Repair Treatment valued at $43!

Family vacation 2014 --Dollywood Recap...

I've been vacationing to the Pigeon Forge, TN area ever since I was a child and not once did I ever visit Dollywood. So on our recent vacation this summer Craig and I made it a priority to take the boys and my 79 year old grandma who was traveling with us. We had so much fun visiting for a day and wished we could have spent more time there because the park offered so much to do.

Dollywood Theme Park is recognized as one of the world's best theme parks and is the perfect vacation destination for everyone in the family no matter their age. The park offers 150 acres of fun nestled in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains. Whether you're a thrill seeker ready to tackle a large roller-coaster or simply visiting to enjoy one of the many entertainment shows, I really think you will enjoy all of the attractions just as we did.

We had a blast riding all of the rides. We started off at the Country Fair which offered bumper cars, the scrambler, a Ferris wheel and rides on a much smaller scale. Perfect for those little ones who can't ride bigger roller coasters yet. You could also try your luck at fair style games like winning a stuffed animal or basketball.

We also checked out some of the larger rides. We had so much fun trying out the new FireChaser Express, Grady's first real rollercoaster which he LOVED!  It was also fun watching those brave enough to ride the Wild Eagle which lets you soar through the air and those who didn't mind getting soaked on a hot day riding Daredevil Falls. There is a ride for everyone at Dollywood, you just have to decide how fast or slow you're willing to go! The only disappointment we had was not being able to ride the Dollywood Express steam engine that wasn't open for the day, we still aren't sure why, but were all looking forward to that!

You don't have to be a rollercoaster riding thrill seeker to enjoy Dollywood. My grandma had so much fun watching the boys ride rides. She did ride a few, but she really enjoyed watching the shows, browsing the beautiful shops which offered Dolly Parton themed items and much more. She also loved trying out some of the great food and treats the park had to offer it's guests.

If you're planning a trip to the Great Smoky Mountain area (Gatlinburg / Pigeon Forge / Sevierville) our family highly recommends a trip to Dollywood. We only visited for a day, but would recommend going more so that you can see and do it all. We can not wait until our next visit and will definitely be visiting the theme park again!

Wilderness at the Smokies --Tennessee's largest waterpark resort and family adventure center!

We recently returned from a family vacation to the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. It's where my family vacationed when I was little and Craig and I have loved  vacationing with our kids there over the last few years. Whether you love the outdoors or are a family that needs to keep busy with activity after activity the smoky mountains has it all.
Today I'm excited to share our recent visit to the Wilderness At The Smokies Hotel and Waterpark Resort located in Sevierville, TN  with Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg nearby.

It's Tennessee's largest waterpark resort and family adventure center and is a must visit for families looking for fun with so much to do. There are 2 outdoor waterparks (seasonal) and 1 indoor waterpark that offers a see-through roof for year round warmth and sunshine no matter what the temperature is outside .

The waterparks feature everything from the Wild Vortex looping waterslide for thrill seekers to the more relaxing Cataloochee Creek lazy river and everything in between. My kids loved the basketball activity pool and trying their luck surfing on the Smokies Surf Rider which provides the sensation of surfing on a five foot ocean wave!

The fun doesn't stop with the waterpark though. We had a blast exploring the Wilderness Adventure Forest Family Adventure Center which offers over 25,000 square feet of indoor, hair-raising, DRY attractions including a 3 story ropes course for those brave enough, a multi-level laster tag arena, black light mini-golf, mini-bowling, a mega arcade and much much more!

The Wilderness is also a great place to stay and dine while in the smoky mountains. The resort features rustic mountain- modern charm and offers accommodations for both small families as well as those with larger groups. The River Lodge can accommodate up to 15 people and some suites are available with full kitchens and living areas. If cooking on vacation isn't your thing then you will love that the Wilderness offers full-service restaurants and buffets, a deli with made-to-order sandwiches, snack bars, a sweets shop and you will love that you don't have to leave for your fave cup of Starbucks Coffee which is available on site.
We loved visiting the Wilderness at the Smokies and will definitely be returning soon! It's a great place to spend the day or the entire week with so much to do. We would highly recommend this resort and waterpark!
