I am so excited to be doing my very first blog review and give-a-way here on The Jackson Five blog! It could not be a more exciting give-a-way - at least I don't think so!

If you girl's ever watch QVC then you know who Mally Roncal is (shown above) and you know all about her Mally Beauty products. Mally is a celebrity makeup artist to stars like Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Mary J. Blige, Terri Hatcher, Rihanna, Celine Dion, Lee Ann Womack, and Hayden Panettiere. I have always watched her on QVC and I have seen some of her Today's Special Values but had never tried her AWESOME products until now!

So a few days ago this UPS package arrived on my front porch, and I couldn't have ripped open the package quicker, that's just how excited I was to see what Mally Beauty sent me to review.

After opening the package they sent me this "High Shine Liquid Lipstick Pen" in the color Perfect Pink. Mally Beauty describes it as a High Performance, full coverage lipstick that gives you a perfect, full color finish with awesome shine. It's rich creamy formula glides on in an easy to use pen package, which allows great precision, while delivering the creamy full color with a professional bush. After trying this product, I fell in L-O-V-E with it! It is so shiny and creamy. It is not sticky at all, like a lot of lipstick/lipgloss products that I have used in the past. I Luh-ove this Perfect Pink shade. It's the prettiest pink color, I think a lot of people could wear this shade! It retails at $20.00 and I think it would last a really long time, you don't need very much at all to make those lips SHINE!

Next they sent me the "24/7 Professional Eye Lining System" in Crisp Black. They claim that this innovative 3-step formula will keep your liner fresh and virtually bulletproof all day long. After trying the liner myself, I was not disappointed. It really did seem to last all day without smearing or smudging! I even applied it to my hand and it stayed there all day, even after trying to rub it off it barely moved until I used makeup remover! I think it's my new favorite eyeliner! This product retails at $25 and you get the double ended applicator brush, an eye liner pencil, and the compact with the white powder and the eye liner color/refresher in the cutest metallic pouch! This would make a great Christmas gift for that hard to buy for girl, who doesn't love eye liner!

The last thing that Mally Beauty sent me was this "City Chick Smokey Eye Kit" in the color Brownstone. Lucky for you they sent me one to GIVE AWAY to one of YOU lucky blog readers! This is a $40 eye shadow kit that one of you will WIN! The kit that you will have a chance to win is in the color Plum Chelsea. It is a set of gorgeous natural plum's. This is perfect for fall. It includes a cream to powder base, a brow lighter, a pretty lid color and even prettier crease color and a coordinating pencil liner. It is all in the cutest compact that is lined in a snake skin background and includes a huge mirror. This would be awesome for yourself or to stash away as a Christmas present for one of your girlfriends! I LOVE the Brownstone and the Plum Chelsea looks amazing. Yesterday was a horrible day in the Jackson house. Jace and Grady have both had really bad coughs and Grady's nose has been running non stop. I have a cold and haven't been feeling so well myself. Yesterday morning Jace got up and starting vomiting. It was more phlegm than anything else since he hadn't ate or drank anything. After drinking a little he continued to throw up several times and it didn't stop. After calling our family doctor and not being able to get in we made the decision to take him to the hospital's E.R. So around 1 we got there and they took his temperature and it was only 96.0, so they took his blood to see how dehydrated he was and and gave him a pill to stop his puking. They also did a chest x-ray to just make sure that they didn't see anything since he had a bad cough and didn't feel the greatest. He did so well during everything, he didn't even shed a tear when they took his blood. Between the nurses, the girl who took his blood and the girl who did his chest x-ray he ended up with about 10 stickers because they were so proud of him and so were we!!! I couldn't believe that he didn't cry when they stuck him, even I HATE when they take mine and want to cry every time! HA! So they decided in the end that he was very dehydrated and probably just had "the flu bug" nothing like h1n1 or anything and just pushed fluids while we were there.

After we got home last night, he was so hungry since he hadn't ate all day and it was about 5:30 when we finally got out of the hospital and wanted some chicken nugget's so bad! So we went to McDonald's and got him some and a sprite, he chowed all of that down and then got on the computer and starting jamming to music. He was back to his old self again! THANK GOD!

Today he was fine. I debated on whether or not to take him to preschool, but it had been a whole 24 hours since his so called "flu bug" as the doctor called it and thought if he is feeling 100% better there is no reason not to send him. He was fine, his teacher even told me how well he is doing lately and that they are proud of him for keeping his shoes on lol! He hates to wear them!
I still don't feel 100% but hopefully this cold will leave soon!

Tonight Craig helped the boys carve pumpkins. Jace has been begging us to do it every night, so they did it and had so much fun. What a mess though, and oh so slimy. I have read about so many people baking the seeds so I collected all of those icky, slimy things and tried my hardest to clean them off. They are drying right now, so I will post the recipe and the results when I finish them! Have any of you ever done this? Is there an easy way to clean them off? I mean they are just so slippery!!!

Check out Grady with his no pants and his boots on, he loves wearing his new boots, so funny! My grandma thought he was so cute like that lol!

So here is the turnout of the pumpkins! Jace thinks they are so scary and cool, he couldn't have been more excited!

I am going to be doing my very 1st give-a-way. I will probably post it on Saturday and am SO excited about it! It is for all of you girly girls out there who love to look pretty so stay tuned for that! It will not disappoint you-I promise!

Kelly over at Kelly's Korner blog is hosting "Show us Your Halloween Costumes" Here are Jace and Grady this year. Jace is the cop and Grady is his jail bird!!!

Today was our trick or treat day in town. The weather was just right, it could have been a bit warmer but the with sun shining and no rain it really turned out to be a beautiful fall day.

The boys looked so cute in their costume's.

Jace got all kinds of comments on his muscular cop outfit and loved it!

Grady has a cold and wasn't really that into it :( He did look super cute though. I still didn't have a costume for him, so yesterday I went to Wal-Mart and had to figure something out. We had just bought this orange puffy vest from the Gap and it was the perfect color for a prisoner outfit. I found black and orange striped pj's at Walmart and they worked really well completing his jail bird jumpsuit! I made a ball and chain and we put some stickers on his vest. I'm so glad it turned out so well at the last minute.

The boys with my grandma or Grannybug as they call her!

We went to a few of my mom's neighbor's houses and then to my grandma's. We went trick or treating in her neighborhood and then down to Craig's parents house. The boy's were about beat by the time we were finished. Well Grady was for sure, he fell asleep before we even got back.

Yes that is a sucker stick hanging out of his I know that's not good but I wasn't about to take it away from him and make him cry!

Craig's mom bought these pumpkin cupcakes with cream cheese icing, they were so good!!! Just what I DID NOT need....but how could I resist just look at them!

Happy Halloween everyone :)

I was so excited when I heard that it was supposed to be in the 70's today! Compared to what it's been lately that's like a heat wave. Can't it just be in the 70's all year round, how perfect would that be?!? Craig was off today so we decided to get lunch and head to the park and eat our lunch. We ordered food from one of our favorite local restaurants and then drove through Micky D's for our LARGE cokes (which I don't need-but am addicted to) and to get our Monopoly pieces, because you just never know if you will win big-right? :) Okay maybe not big, but I did win a medium fry today, wooo hooo!

Jace eating pizza, he would not look at the camera...imagine!

Grady was chowing down his pizza, yummy...

So I took the camera and thought can I just get a few good pictures of the boys looking at the camera and smiling? Oh yeah right, this is exactly why I will not get professional family pictures quite yet. I'm not saying we do not have family pictures taken, just not paying for them yet. They will not cooperate no matter what. I can not even bribe them. They are just wild, busy boys and will not hold still for 2 seconds!

I picked Grady up to try and get one of the 2 of us and oh my goodness was he MAD! He threw himself back and bucked me, he just wanted to get down and R-U-N lol, crazy boy!

Daddy smile good :)

Here is a better one of Jace trying to climb up the slide while eating a sucker

Grady was happy here, climbing up and down the jungle gym and going down the slides

I'm not sure where I was looking, the sun was shining so bright- not that I'm complaining at all!!! All in all we had a super fun day! I wish there were more sunny warm days to look forward to, but that's not going to happen much more :(

Wow I can't believe that October has came and almost gone already. Where is the time going? I really can't believe that it's almost Halloween and then a few days after that I turn 29 BOOOOO HOOOOO! My last year in my 20's, so sad! I don't want to turn 30, to me that sounds so old and grown up and I don't feel like that at all! HA!

So I bought the boys matching Halloween shirts. I don't usually like to be matchy, matchy but I thought they were so cute and only $5.99 at Target. For the price and the amount of time that they will actually get warn you just can't beat that price! Just look how cute they are...

look how wet Grady's is lol, he drools all the time!!!
They say "Mummy thinks I'm cuter than this candy" awwwww :) I sure do ha ha! Ok I think they are sweet sometimes, but lately all they do is fight and steal toys from one another, one of them is constantly crying or screaming! I hope they grow out of this stage soon, but I'm sure at only being 1 and 4 we have a really LONG road ahead of us!

Jace is going to be a police officer for Halloween which is this Sunday already! I had no idea it was this soon until I saw someone from my town post it of facebook. Thank goodness I just found his costume at T.J. Maxx on Sunday! Ahhhh ok now I really need to get Grady a costume! I wanted him to be a little jailbird since Jace is a cop but I can't find a costume like that any where. Any idea on how or where I can make or buy a black and white striped outfit for a 1 year old? I've looked online only to find them for dogs, adults or older boys :( Or do you have any other idea on what he could be to go along with Jace's cop costume? I would love to hear your thoughts, and FAST!!!! Why do I have to always be such a last minute person....

Check out those muscles in that cop costume! Too funny!!!

The last few days have been so rainy and gloomy outside and so I needed a pick me up. So what more can a girl ask for when she's down and out and the weather is terrible? A shopping day!!! Ha ha! Saturday it was so sunny outside so my mom, grandma and I decided to go shopping. Craig stayed home and watched football, and so the deal was I take Grady and he would take Jace. I said sounds good to me :) So here are a few cute things that I got from Forever 21...

I love these adorable "Glittered Point Toe Flats" I got them in black and they are only $10.50! I should have bought them in every color for that price. They are different than the normal round toe flats, I love the pointy toes
I also got this cute "Dotted Sweater Cardigan" it was $19.80
I love this "Chiffon Applique Cardigan" I got it in black, but the white one is just as cute! It was $22.80

I love Forever 21's jewelry, it's so cheap and they have so many items to choose from. I got this "Sequin Mesh Necklace" for $6.80
I got a really cute flower ring, I couldn't find the picture online but it is very similar to this one, only it has a pearl in the middle. This one is called the "Lacquered Blossom Ring" for $5.80

I didn't see this cardigan there, but I just might have to order it! I love anything ruffly this year and this sweater is adorable! "Blair Ruffle Sweater Cardigan" $17.80
I definitely got my "shopping fix" in and it was just the pick me up that I needed, oh you girls know how that is I'm sure :)

Before we went shopping on Saturday my niece Shiann came over. She is a freshman this year and was going to homecoming. So being the cool aunt that I am, I did her hair and makeup for her! Just because I don't do hair right now, doesn't mean that I don't still love to play dress up and do hair and makeup!!! So here she is! She looked great and told me she had a great time!

Here is the back, you can't tell from the picture but we put a braid in coming back from the side and curled her hair with a flat iron, it looked really cute!
Here she is with Jace and Grady. Jace asked her if she was getting and flower and said "ooohhh la la" he's funny! I can't imagine those 2 going to homecoming some day, but I also can't believe that Shiann is that old already...where does time go! It just means that I am getting older :( booo hooo hooo ha ha!
