I am always so excited to review products and this one was no exception. Kidorable is such an awesome company. Kidorable transforms everyday, functional accessories into objects that excite their imaginations and enrich their lives at play. From rainwear to backpacks to knitwear and towels, Kidorable speaks to the precious spirit of childhood. Kidorable is kind enough to let one of my readers have the chance to win one of their awesome umbrellas!

We decided to choose the Kidorable Rainboots because the boys love to play outside and I love the fact that they are waterproof, made out of natural rubber and you can just wash them off when they get dirty! I let Jace pick which pair he wanted and he chose the Fireman Kids Rain Boots. Don't you love Kidorable's packaging too?

He was so excited when we opened them. He couldn't wait to put them on and try them out. They are so fun with wheels and headlights on them along with flame all over them and one boot even has an American flag on it, how cool is that!

For Grady we chose the Kidorable Frog Rain Boots. He loves putting these on by himself and has wore them so much already! They are such a fun green color and have eyes and a mouth and look just like a frog, they are adorable on him! Look how mad he was when our outside photo shoot was over :( he was so angry with me!

Overall we love these boots and as Kidorable says "for indoor play or outdoor fun, they're sure to make a splash and guaranteed to be the cutest boots in your neighborhood!" We definitely agree :)

Obviously we had to review boy products since we have 2 of them, but I have to show you some of the girl products, that I myself am in love with...
These products are from their English Rose collection inspired by Madonna's best selling children's book The English Roses.

On Saturday night we headed to Muncie and celebrated my cousin Paige's 11th birthday.

Paige and Jace

My grandma made reservations for 17 of us! Yep you heard that right, 17 of my family member's all at the Olive Garden. Talk about crazy!

Grannybug and Jace

Thank goodness we had reservations because it was packed. There was a sweet heart dance going on and there were all of these teenagers all dressed up and a million other people waiting in line as well. We had our own little private room and two tables and one little empty table with 2 seats. As we were all being loud and enjoying our meal they sat a young couple in our room in the 2 empty seats at the tiny table where we were. I thought how awkward for them, ha! The kids were running back and forth from table to table and there they were. Aunt Kay was nice to them though, she gave them some of Paige's birthday cake for putting up with us. I'm not sure that made up for our loudness, but who cares! We had reservations, ha ha!

I got to see little Emme. She is the biggest wiggle worm these days. She is walking everywhere and doesn't want to sit still at all! Don't you love her little dress, so modern!

Emme's parents look good here...sorry for the big burst of flash in the background, dumb mirror! They had to drive 2 1/2 hours to Muncie. I talked Sara into stopping at the Muncie mall with us and she was glad she did! In the Muncie they changed their Gap to a Gap outlet store and they had so many deals!!! Sweaters for like $4.99 and cute tank tops for $2.99!!! So I think it was worth the drive after all, getting to see all of us and some great deals, you just can't go wrong!

Kaitlin loves Emme :)

Doesn't my cousin Ryan look good in green, bahahahahah! I was getting a chocolate cupcake with green icing on it for Jace and Ryan said he wanted it. I said do you and was putting it in front of his face and he kept saying yes- so I did just that and gave it to him!!! LOL It was pretty funny!!!

Ryan wasn't the only one who had green icing all over himself... oh my goodness Jace did too! That icing was awful (well awfully good) it stained Jace's hands so bad!!!

Well I need to go, Jace starts swim lessons at the YMCA tonight. It's that time of year again, where pool season will be shortly arriving and with my parents having a pool in their back yard it scares me to death!!! I want the boys to be as comfortable in the water as possible and be confident in themselves if ever need to be!!! Pictures to come of that I'm sure :)

I was so excited when Softlips sent me some of their products for review. As you all know we've had some pretty harsh weather this winter. The harsh wind and cold temperatures definitely did a number on my lips and my family's so we couldn't wait to try Softlips out.

They were kind enough to send us three of their limited edition flavors in
Cherry & Sugar Cookie, Sugar & Spice and Vanilla, and Sugar Plum Berry & Cherry! These limited edition flavors help protect lips from the sun with SPF 20 and have the same great moisturizing properties as Softlips' other popular flavors. Each winter flavor comes paired with a complimentary Softlips favorite lip balm.

So after trying these out we were all very happy with them. My husband isn't afraid to put these on as they have very neutral packaging and he can easily carry one in his pocket.

Oh I'm so disappointed that the Softlips is out of focus, but my husband was totally not digging the photo shoot and he wasn't willing to do it over, ha ha!!! What a good sport he was though :)

I gave one to my 4 year old and he loved putting this on once I told him it was chap-stick and not lip gloss, ha ha! His lips have been terrible this winter and these have made them so smooth! I personally love these for myself. They are very smooth going on, they are not sticky at all and are perfect to wear all day long! I love the flavors too- my favorite is the Sugar Plum Berry!

Ha ha, what a dork I am...well you have to know that I used them, just look at those smooth lips!

After reviewing these products I would 100% recommend them to all of you because they are great!!! :) You can find these limited edition flavors at Target for $2.99-$3.99!!! Hurry go them them while they last............

is going to give one of you the chance to win all three of these limited edition flavor packs!!!

So I'm going to let you in on a family recipe! They are my mom's sugar cookies and they are seriously the best!!! The dough is homemade and so is the icing and they are so good.

-1 1/2 Cups White Sugar
-1 Cup Crisco
-4 to 4 1/2 Cups Flour
-1/2 Teaspoon Vanilla
-1 Cup Buttermilk With 1 Teaspoon Soda Dissolved
-2 Eggs
-4 Teaspoons Baking Powder
-1/2 Teaspoon Salt

Sift flour, baking powder and salt. Mix Crisco and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix together. Add dry mixture, alternate with the buttermilk and soda. Chill overnight (or at least several hours)

Roll out to about 3/8 inch thick, use a little flour to roll them in. Cut out cookies. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. Ice the cookies when they are almost cool.

-4 Cups Confectioners Sugar
-1 Teaspoon Vanilla
-2 to 3 Tablespoons Butter
-About 4 Tablespoons of Milk
-Dash of Salt

Beat with a mixer. If it is too thick add a little more milk, if too thin add more confectioners sugar. Add food coloring if desired and put on cooled cookies.

Show Us Your Life with Kelly's Korner
What a fun weekend it's been. Saturday my brother and his family came home. It is always fun to spend time with them and especially with little Emme! It's amazing to me how fast things can change in a week or two. Emme was just taking just a few steps the last time that we saw her and now she is full blown walking!

I love this little dress on her and her pink hair bow (because I bought them for her for her birthday) is she not the cutest little thing! Oh to have a girl and dress her in hot pink and pretty dresses...

Of course we had to get a picture of her and I :)

We also had to get a few pictures of Emme and Grandma...

Emme LOVES jewelry already and decided to rip grandma's earring out! OUCH lol.. I personally think that Emme needs her ear's pierced now, but Sara just won't go for it! She remembers when she got hers pierced with her mom and it was a very special time for them and wants the same for Emme...but I just think she needs them now! :)

I also "tried" to get a few pictures of Emme and Grady...trying to get the two of them to sit still is quite the joke! This is the best one out of many, many picture's taken. They were to busy trying to look at Yo Gabba Gabba on t.v. and everyone else trying to call their names, ha! They are still cute, even if they are little stinkers!

Jace kept Uncle Josh occupied on the computer most of the day. He is like a 4 year old gamer! He could spend ALL day on there and I guess he gets it honest because we all love the Internet in our house! Uncle Josh is a computer have a question about the computer or anything else for that matter and he is your go to guy! One night a few weeks ago Jace wanted to know how to say all of these words in different languages so we sent Uncle Josh text messages and sure enough he sent us back how to say them... it was rather amusing to say the least! Today before they got into town Jace called Josh to see what time he would be here. He even counted to 100 on the phone for him, their conversations are so funny.

After they all left Craig and I went out on the town. My parent's watched the boys for us. We hardly ever go anywhere with just the two of us so we decided to go on a date to celebrate V-day! We had reservations at La Piazza's, a little Italian restaurant in a neighboring town. The food was excellent, especially the red velvet cake!!! We then headed to the movies and saw Valentine's Day. Craig had heard it had terrible rating's and almost talked me out of watching it. We were both so glad we saw it! I didn't realize it had so many "big names" in it like Ashton Kutcher, Patrick Dempsey, Eric Dane, Taylor Lautner, Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Garner, George Lopez, Jamie Foxx, Jessica Alba, Queen Latifah, Taylor Swift, Julia Roberts, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper and I'm probably forgetting other's! Who wouldn't want to see it with all of those hot actors in it :) Shhhhh...don't tell my husband ha ha!...oh wait what am I talking about there were just as many hot actresses in it!
Anyways it was a super cute movie with some very unexpected endings to it to say the least! Not to mention we were laughing most of the time! If you haven't see it I would recommend it, we both enjoyed it! Craig said he would even watch it again!

Well I hope you all have a happy Valentines Day!!! Remember today is the last day to sign up for the art set give-a-way on my blog click here to sign up! I have 2 more give-a-ways that I'll be posting in the next few days! This time they are for grown-ups yay!!!
