Back to School 5 Piece Complete Dorm Organization Set

Can you believe that school is just around the corner? It's been so hot here that it's hard to think about it coming up so quickly. Whether you are like me and having your 1st one going to kindergarten or maybe yours is starting college it's time to start thinking about getting more organized. Summer around here is just more laid back because we are always on the go...going to festivals, hanging out at the pool and just doing fun things but when school starts if you are like me you just feel like you have to get back into the grind of things, more on a schedule and definitely more organized around the house etc...



I recently had the opportunity to review a 5 Piece Complete Dorm Set valued at $24.99 from Kirkland's which included a 6 Shelf Sweater Organizer, a 10 Shelf Shoe Organizer, a Bed Storage Bag (9.5" x 6" x 12"), a Laundry Bag (24" x 36") and a Drawer Organizer.


Oh course I'm not in college nor are my kids but this can be used in any household to help you stay more organized which is always a plus around here! I made good use of each item in this set. I knew exactly where I would put the 2 hanging closet storage organizers. The front closet in our living room was a disaster. I didn't think about taking a picture of it until after I had it cleaned up, but that's probably a good thing because it was quite embarrassing!

As you can see below I used the Sweater Organizer for shoes, movies and DVDs and it was perfect for that! And then the Shoe Organizer I put shoes in. We always throw our shoes in this closet when we come home and you can imagine what a mess the floor was having shoes all over. I LOVE these 2 items. They just Velcro on which was nice!


Next was this neat Bed Storage Bag. I had actually never seen one of these before. You just tuck the flap underneath your mattress and then you have this neat storage bag for your magazines, books, TV remote and anything else you keep beside your bed.



Usually this stuff ends up cluttering our bedside table, so I love this idea.


I had this wicker laundry basket in the boys room but it didn't have a liner so I used the laundry bag just for that! It matches perfectly and looks so much better with a liner. This Laundry Bag is HUGE and would be perfect for that college student who has to carry their clothes to the laundry room.


The last item is the Drawer Organizer which I actually put to good use on our entertainment center. We have like 10 remotes laying around so this was perfect for those. Now we just keep our remotes in this basket when not in use and we always know where they were! Don't you hate when you lose a remote and you have to dig through the cushions on your couch and search the house not knowing if your kids got a hold of one!?


Over all I am loving this new organization set. For only $24.99 you can afford to get organized and pick up one of these sets to send to school with your kids! The quality of these items are great and I love that they are a neutral color so you can use these at home as well.
