There is nothing more fun than getting the house ready for Christmas - last night we put up our tree (yes I know it's only November 13th but the boys were SO EXCITED) and we worked on putting up almost all of our outside lights this weekend too as it was 60 some degrees here!

This will be our 1st Christmas in our new house and we have had so much fun decorating and putting our own style into our new home. So when Mohawk Home sent us another rug for review we were thrilled to pick one out for under our kitchen table as it was just bare tile before.

So let me show you the rug we chose...

You can tell just how big this rug is from my little guy laying on it in the living room. He thought he was big stuff getting on it when I first laid it out after receiving it! Too cute!

Below is our kitchen table with our new rug under it. Oh my goodness what a HUGE difference this has made in appearance. We love, love, love this rug. It matches our house so well, adds a modern flare and just warms up our dining room. Not only do I love the looks but I love the functionality of it. It is so much nicer having a warm rug under the table then just putting our feet on bare floors. I also love that it catches all of the crumbs that the boys drop and I can quickly and easily sweep right over it.

It is still in front of our kitchen sink and we love it just as much as our new one. We love that it has rubber backing on it and stays in place, we love that we can just sweep right over it too and we love that we no longer have to stand on bare tile while working at the sink.
