K'NEX Review...

What did your kids get for Christmas?  Mine got too much as usual, but they did get some gift cards this year which is nice because they can pick out some things that they maybe asked for and didn't get or they can just go look and see what's available.

Well if your kids got gift cards you should really think about having them check out K'NEX products.  We recently had the opportunity to review several products from K'NEX and my boys LOVE them!  If you are not familiar with them let me tell you a little bit about them...

K'NEX are "The World's Most Creative Construction and Building Toys".  They are the next generation of construction sets - they inspire creativity, build self-confidence, and encourages interaction between parents and children.  The possibilities are really endless when playing with K'NEX!

Check out this video to see just how K'NEX are put together - this is their new Thrill Rides Double Shot Coaster which is so cool...

We were sent 3 different sets...

First we were sent the Roary Silver Hatch Garage Building Set which is great for kids ages 3+ so it was perfect for Grady.  This set comes with 40 chunky pieces for easy building fun with buildable gas pumps, removable hood on Roary's Car, floor mat, and other accessories for realistic and thrilling after-building play!

Jace helped Grady put this together and it didn't take them long to have it all assembled.  He had fun helping his little brother put this set together.  They both had fun playing with the car and pretending to fill the tank up with the little gas can and playing mechanic on Roary's car with the included tool box and wrench.

The next set was sent for Jace, it was the Mario Kart Wii Mario and Yoshi Finish Line Building Set  that is for ages 6+.  Jace was so excited to get started on this because he is a huge Mario and Wii fan!  Bring Mario Kart Wii to life with this set that includes over 300 pieces!  This set will provide hours of fun from the time you start building Mario and Yoshi until the finish line when you get to start racing your cars!

Craig and I both helped Jace put together this kit.  It is definitely fun for the whole family.  There were big pieces and small and it provided us with quality time spent following directions and building each piece from start to finish!  We had a lot of fun doing this one!

The last one sent for review was the Monster Jam New Grave Digger vs Son-Uva Digger Building Set .  This set is for ages 5+ and lets your child Build, Play and Crush!  It comes with over 100 parts to build 2 of the most popular monster trucks in Monster Jam at the same time, with K'NEXmen drivers.  With this you can compete head-to-head or side-by-side, driving over ramps and crashing into a grave yard - all included.

These were the 1st K'NEX sets that we have ever had.  We have had so much fun building and playing with them.  We can't wait to get a few more sets.

There are so many affordable K'NEX sets to choose from.  I think our next purchase will be something from their Sesame Street Building Sets and a Lincoln Log set.  I used to love Lincoln Logs when I was little and know my boys would really have fun with them!
