Mohawk Home - Rug Review and Give-a-way ends 10/18/2011...

We recently built a new home and there is one thing that drives me crazy and it's dirty floors! It doesn't help that we have tons of tile in our home especially in our entry ways and it especially doesn't help that our yard is partially mud and partially grass...oh the fun new stages! So I love having rugs down to help keep it a little cleaner around here!

Mohawk Home recently let us pick out a rug for review but before I show you what we chose let me first tell you a little more about the company...

Mohawk offered to send us a rug for review and that excited me...I know it's just a rug but you can never (in my opinion) have too many. I like to have rugs in my entry ways, in front of the bathtub and shower and the one that I was missing was one in front of our kitchen sink. So I knew that I was going to choose one to go there!



After browsing all of the retailers websites that sold Mohawk Rugs I finally decided on this one...




It's the 20" X 34" Raffia Reed Burke Gold Area Rug sold at Menards for only $14.99!



When I saw the picture of it online I really liked it, but when it arrived I liked it so much more. The website photo above did this rug no justice. The colors are so much richer in person as you can tell from my pictures. It matches my dark cabinets in the kitchen perfectly and it's made itself at home in front of my sink.



It's tufted from Olefin & Polyester Blend, it's pile height is 1/2 inch for softness and durability, it's machine washable and it's made in the USA! I've had this down for awhile now and I just love it. It's so nice to stand on something so soft instead of cold tile while doing stuff at the sink and I love that it has a rubber backing so that I can just sweep right over it and it doesn't move which I have done almost daily and it still looks brand new!




I have always been a fan of Mohawk products - and this one didn't disappoint! Over all I love my new rug and I love that I can purchase their products online or at one of their many retailers for such a great price!

He just started kindergarten and what a fun way for him practice writing his name, the alphabet and just anything else his little imagination desires!

Overall we love the product and loved ThinkGeek!! I will tell you that I sent them a list of products that we would be interested in reviewing and we received our product the very next day!!! Unbelievable! Love that!!
