Do you love Pinterest?

Oh my, I'm sure by now you have all heard the craze about Pinterest.  If you haven't you have to join.  You can only join by being invited, if you need an invite e-mail me at jacksonfivefamilyblog@hotmail.com and put "Pinterest" in the subject line and I will be happy to send you an invite!

I could spend hours browsing the site, looking at crafts, clothes, makeup and hair tutorials and I am loving all of the new recipes that I have found.  I made chocolate chip cookies today and of course I found the recipe on there.  They turned out soooooo good so I just have to share with all of you!  If you love a soft, chewy chocolate chip cookie then this is a must try.  It's definitely not for you if you like a crispier cookie.

Here is the Recipe - "The Best Chocolate Chip Cookie"

3/4 Cup Unsalted Butter (Softened)
3/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Granulated Sugar
2 Cups Flour
1 Egg
2 tsp Vanilla
2 tsp Cornstarch
1 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Cup Chocolate Chips

In a bowl cream butter and sugars until fluffy.  Add egg and vanilla into the mix.  Mix in flour, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt.  Then stir in the chocolate chips.

Refrigerate dough for at least a half hour.   In the meantime grease a cookie sheet and cover with flour... shake off excess.   Drop dough on cookie sheet (I rolled dough into 1 inch balls).

Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.  (I have made 2 batches of these the 1st batch I made the dough balls about 1 inch, the 2nd batch I made them a little larger and I did bake them for about 10-12 minutes the 2nd time)

Oh my these were soooooo good!  My family LOVED them - I will definitely be adding this recipe to my collection for future use!
