Living Proof RESTORE Haircare Products Review...

We are Living Proof.

As a former hairstylist I love hair.  I love coloring my hair, changing the style, curling it, flat ironing it and everything in between.  Unfortunately though when you do all of these things to your hair, you also damage it in the process. 

I was recently introduced to Living Proof hair care products and I am so excited to tell you all about them!  Just because you have damaged hair doesn't mean you can't help fix it and "restore" the beauty.

 So let me tell you about the Living Proof Restore Shampoo and Conditioner I recently reviewed...

I was so excited to try these products out - The Restore line of products was created to restore the moisture in your hair using something called PolyfluoroEster, which is their proprietary moisture-controlling molecule which helps heal and protect each strand weightlessly, making dry, damaged hair look, feel and behave more like virgin hair.  The PolyfluroEster actually coats each strand of hair, so it locks in the moisture not letting any more in, say from humidity or rain and not letting what's already in out!

The first step in restoring dry damaged hair is to use the Restore Shampoo which is sulfate-free so it gently cleanses hair of dirt and oil without stripping it.  It is made to replenish hair moisture by improving the manageability, restoring the softness and renewing the shine all while healing each strand.

The next step is using the Restore Conditioner which nourishes the hair by removing tangles, restores the softness and again renews the shine which helps heal each strand. 

The last product in this line is the Restore Mask Treatment which is an intensive weekly treatment used alternatively with the conditioner.  By applying it once a week it will help increase strength, manageability and shine. 

Like I said above I was sent the Shampoo and Conditioner to try.  I have been using it for several weeks now and can honestly say that it makes my hair feel so much better.  It looks smoother, shinier and the overall condition of it is better.  I wish I could have tried the Restore Mask Treatment along side these two products so that I could tell you about the whole line and process.  My hair already feels amazing after using it for a few weeks and I just wonder how much better the mask would have made it feel.

If you have dry, brittle, damaged hair I really think you should give this a try!  It is safe for color-treated hair which is great.  It is a little pricey as the 8 fl oz Shampoo and Conditioner retail for $28 a piece and the mask $42, but if you are like me and your hair is very important to you and part of your overall look then it's definitely worth every penny!
