Catalogue App by TheFind.com Review...

I love shopping, browsing catalogs and looking at products online.  So when I was recently introduced to the Catalogue App by TheFind.com I was so excited to try it out.

The Catalogue App is a free app available for use with the iPad, Kindle Fire and Android (large screen) phones. It's the new way to browse through all your favorite store catalogs.  At any given time, there are roughly 95 catalog merchants featuring 175-200 issues inside the app including some of my favorite things like fashion, beauty, products for the home, kids and so much more!

Unlike traditional catalogs, Catalogue consumers can pull together their own personal favorites from various brands into one location, check local store availability, take a peek at the retailers sale emails and, “using Camera View” available for the iPad,  you can even see how an item would look in your own home.  Unfortunately I don't have an iPad but that sounds so neat, there have been many times that I am looking at a product and think how would that really look in my house etc...  hopefully this feature will be available on the Kindle Fire or my Android Tablet in the future!

Catalogue also features store email that allows the user to obtain the most recent deals and promotions put out by the brand. News and upcoming events are also collated conveniently inside the app. Here the user can find the best deals and discounts without having to clog their regular email account with unwanted spam.

The Catalogue App also offers a “green” alternative to the classic catalog shopping:

• Did you know that a whopping 5.6 million tons of catalogs and other direct mail advertisements end up in U.S. landfills annually?

• The average American household receives unsolicited junk mail equal to 1.5 trees every year—more than 100 million trees for all U.S. households combined - that's terrible why not help out and start viewing all of your favorite catalogs online!

• 44 percent of junk mail is thrown away unopened, but only half that much junk mail (22 percent) is recycled.

• Americans pay $370 million annually to dispose of junk mail that doesn’t get recycled.

• On average, Americans spend 8 months opening junk mail in the course of their lives.

- REVIEW -

So after accessing the free app our Kindle Fire and on our Vizio Tablet that features Android I was excited to see just how this Catalogue App worked.  Well let me just say that if you love shopping, day dreaming about a new dress or furniture purchase then you will also love this app and it will probably become very addicting!

There are so many catalogs to browse and they offer so many of my favorites like J.Crew, Anthropology, Sephora, Ballard Designs and Crate and Barrel.  They not only had some of my favorite catalogs, but had so many more that I had never even heard of.  I love finding out about new companies and their products so that is definitely a plus of the app in my opinion!

I love how simple it is to use - you get to see scroll through the face of each catalog and when you find one you like simply click on it and start shopping/browsing.  You can also do a product search if you are looking for something specific which I really liked. I love being able to shop anyplace, anytime.  I have found myself browsing catalogs while waiting in the pick-up line at school, at appointments etc... it's so fun and definitely passes the time.

There are a few more features that I think you will like -- you can save products on your tablet and then access them on the web later.  You can also share products on Facebook or via E-mail which is really neat.  I also love that unlike other app's this one is ad-free which is a HUGE plus!  There is nothing worse than using an app and having to wait to an ad for 10-15 seconds before you can move on.
