A few weeks ago I introduced you all to the Catalogue App by TheFind.com with my review. I hope some of you have had the chance to try it. I am in love with this app. I love shopping, browsing catalogs and just getting inspired from them. Whether I am searching for a new outfit, home decorating ideas or the perfect gift for someone, I can find it all in one place with this app.
If you didn't see my last post I will tell you a little bit about it -- the Catalogue App is a free app available for use with the iPad, Kindle Fire and Android (large screen) phones. It's the new way to browse through all your favorite store catalogs. At any given time, there are roughly 95 catalog merchants featuring 175-200 issues inside the app.
Here are just a few of the many catalog's available to view. As you can see there is a large variety of products to browse through - Flowers, Electronics, Apparel, Beauty Products, Toys, Home Goods and so much more!
Crate & Barrel
Dean & Deluca
Harry and David
Toys R Us
I want to show you guys how the catalog's look on on my tablet...
On the main screen you get to see the cover of each magazine, from there you can click which one you want to look at.
Once you decide which catalog you want to browse, you then you are able to see each page which you can easily skim through.
If you find a particular item you like, again just click on it and then you get detailed information about the item, descriptions, prices etc...
It's a really great app and one that I definitely use as a fun pastime. I have browsed the catalog waiting at the doctors office, in the pickup line at school and while enjoying a nice breeze on my porch while the boys play in the yard.
The best part of the app is that it is free and is a "green" alternative to classic catalog shopping! Think how many trees you will save by browsing all of your catalogs on your tablet. Not only will you be saving trees but think of all of the trash you will be keeping out of landfills! Did you know that a whopping 5.6 million tons of catalogs and other direct mail advertisements end up in U.S. landfills annually? That is just crazy!! So do your part and check out the Catalogue App by TheFind.com I think you will really love the app!
