It's summer time-- that means pool days, hanging out with friends and family and of course good food!  I was so excited when The Olive Press sent us one of their new Fiesta Olive Oil Sampler Packs to review.

The Olive Press is the original, the ONLY most highly awarded California Olive Oil producer......The Olive Press was created in 1995 by Deborah Rogers (Marquesa) and Ed Stolman, both California olive growers and producers who were inspired by the olive pressing facilities of Italy and Southern France.

The Olive Press is dedicated to making only the finest Award Winning California Extra Virgin Olive Oil; it is a completely unique facility designed to meet the custom pressing needs of commercial producers, growers with small harvests, and hobbyists wishing to create “estate” olive oil from home grown olives.

The Olive Press dedicated to anything and everything having to do with olives and olive oil. You’ll find many unique and distinctive items for gift giving and for your own home. For the chef, the best of  their award winning California extra virgin olive oils are offered for tasting and purchase. They also offer assorted jars of tapenades, cured olives, olive oil crackers and other tasty delicacies. In addition to their wonderful olive oils and unique balsamic vinegars, they offer a wide variety of olive themed ceramics, baskets, books, table linens and olive oil storage containers, many commissioned by and available exclusively through The Olive Press.

REVIEW:

I was so excited to be able to try one of the The Olive Press Fiesta Packs.  The Fiesta Packs are a unique and fun gift for yourself or just about anyone.  They are the perfect way to try a selection of their award-winning Olive Oils and Balsamics.  In each sampler pack you receive six 60ml bottles in one of their wood logo boxes.  The Fiesta Packs are available in 4 different samplers: Extra Virgin, Citrus, Balsamic Vinegars and The Multi - a combo of all three, which we received.

Balsamic includes - Strawberry, Black Currant, Peach, Champagne and White Balsamics.

Multi includes - Champagne Blasamic, Mission EVOO, Limonato Olive Oil, Strawberry Balsamic, Blood Orange Olive Oil, Italian Blend EVOO.

Citrus includes - Champagne Balsamic, Clementine Olive Oil, Lime Olive Oil, White Balsamic, Blood Orange Olive Oil, Limonato Olive Oil.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil includes - Koroneiki, Mission, Ascolano, Master Blend, Italian BLend, Arbequina.

After we received the kit I couldn't wait to try the oils so we had my parents over and my mom and I started cooking.

First we made an Apple, Strawberry salad and topped it off with the Strawberry Balsamic dressing.

Then we made Chicken Cacciatore - which consists of spaghetti, grilled chicken, a can of rotel and Italian dressing.  We grilled our chicken in the Mission EVOO

and lastly we made an Olive Oil and Parmesan Cheese Dip using the Italian Blend EVOO.

Everyone LOVED our meal that night.  The salad was delicious with the Strawberry Balsamic used for the dressing.  The grilled chicken tasted so good and every one's favorite was the Italian Blend EVOO and Parmesan Dip, it had the most amazing flavor for dipping bread in.  We loved trying the sampler and can't wait to purchase full sized bottles of the oils.

The Olive Press offers so many different things, not only do they offer only the finest Olive Oils but they also offer a variety of other things:  Gifts, Pantry and Table Top Items, Bath and Spa Collections, Harvest Tools and they even offer you an assortment of Recipes using their products, which I have loved browsing through, I am curious to try their Fudgy Olive Oil Brownies!
