Nutrisystem Week 9 Jenna / Week 5 Craig

Jenna's Nutrisystem Journey Week 9

  I can not believe that I have been on Nutrisystem for 9 weeks.  This week is Halloween and I am glad that I have been on the plan for this long now.  If I wasn't on Nutrisystem I know how this week would go.  My kid's would go trick or treating and I would be helping eat all of their candy.  Honestly before I started on this program snacking was a weekness for me.  I would give into temptation so easily, but now that I am on this system you get to eat so much and are never hungry. Between being able to eat healthy snacks between meals, indulging in portioned size desserts and drinking plenty of water, I just don't get hungry like I used to.
Being on the plan has really made me see what portions should be.  It's amazing to me to see a Nutrisystem meal size and then going out to eat and seeing what a restaurant serves you.  I would say that before starting this plan I was probably eating 3x's as much as I was supposed to.  No wonder I wasn't losing any weight, if not gaining!  
Instead of getting in my kid's trick or treat bucket this week, I am going to challenge myself.  Every time I even think about snatching a piece of chocolate, I am going to do a few situp's, pushup's or lunges instead :-)

Here are my current stat's -- I am stayed EXACTLY the same this week.  I am just happy that I didn't gain!

Craig's Nutrisystem Journey Week 5

  5 Weeks on the Nutrisystem plan. I have lost even more weight.  Last week I weighed in at 216.5 and today I stepped on the scale and weighed in at 215 pounds.  I lost another pound and a half.  

I have started doing treadmill intervals.  Walking 2 minutes, jogging 1 minute.  It feels great working out again.  It's not as hard as I thought it would be.  You just have to make time for yourself.  We have two kids and it's hard getting off work, playing with the kids and finding the time to get on the treadmill, but it's not impossible.  I usually do it once Jenna and I get the boys' in bed.  I put my earbuds in, turn up the music and get my sweat session on.  

Here are my current results...

1st Week - 220
2nd Week -220 
3rd Week - 218
4th Week - 216.5
5th Week - 215
I have lost a total of 11 pounds and it feels great.
