- REVIEW -

So of course my husband and I were so excited to receive our own Journey Gym to fully test out and feature to all of you!  We loved how light and compact it was.  It's like carrying a small suitcase.  We immediately opened it up and got it set up by watching the 5 minute introduction video which was nice.  It gave step-by-step instructions which made setup super easy.

After we got it set up I did the 20 minute workout provided on the video sent along with the gym.  I loved that they mix cardio with strength training , providing you with a full circuit training workout.  After I did the first video I wanted more so I got on the website and loved being able to find other videos that I could workout to under their "training" tab.  The trainers on them are great and really get your heart rate up and keep you motivated the whole time.  I loved being able to choose which video that I wanted...they have such a variety.  It doesn't matter if you have 5 minutes or 20 minutes they have one to suit your needs.  

I also loved being able to choose a Full Body Workout, an Upper Body Circuit or a Lower Body Blast.  If one of the videos doesn't fit your needs you can actually choose to put together your very own workout, choosing different videos, music, body parts to work etc... which is so great since everyone has different fitness goals.

I wasn't sure if my husband would like this because he used to workout in the gym, lifting weights and doing all of the "machines".  He was actually surprised at how many different exercises he was able to do with this and loved that he could use lots of weight with it, feeling the burn just like at the gym.

We have let several of our family members and friends try this as well and of course they all want one after trying it for themselves!  They all love how light and compact it is, giving you no excuse to get that workout in.  Any time, any place, any where!

I'm so excited to feature the Mondetta Performance Gear Spring/Summer 2012 Collection to you guys!  Working out is hard, but looking good while doing it doesn't have to be!

I was recently able to choose 2 items from their new Spring/Summer 2012 Collection that just launched and I was so excited about that.   The hard part was picking a few items out because they have so many to choose from.  

After browsing all of the items I chose the Zen - Performance jersey warm-up Jacket ($90) and the Essential Active Capri Pant ($48).

Oh my I can't tell you how much I love my new MPG items.  The very first thing that I noticed before even trying them on was the material of both the pants and jacket.  They are both made from unbelievably soft and stretchy material. The pants are made from Nylon-Spandex blended brushed jersey and have four-way stretch which = AMAZING!!  The website says they have a luxurious sueded feel and that is exactly right. Love them!

The jacket is just adorable.  Not only does it fit perfectly but I love all of the features that it has.  For one it has ruched front and back side panels which make it so cute which is hard to find in workout wear.  It has soft sheering at the elbows, thumb hole features on the sleeve cuffs so when you are running or working out they won't ride up.  It has front zippered storage pockets and a zippered back storage pock with MPG flatlock puller.  I love this jacket for working out but it's also great to just wear.  It fits awesome, is so comfortable but doesn't compromise style at all!

I really like this Helix performance workout skort with a built in compression liner. It comes in Black or a Regal Blue and retails for $60. Again you CAN look cute while getting our workout on!!

I also really like this Bolero french terry relaxed fitting sweatshirt with sonic welded pocket details which is available in Black or Ash Grey for only $64.  Totally looks like something I would wear!

I showed my husband the MPG website and he really liked this Arcansus micro french terry hooded zip jacket with elastic rib trim $90.

REVIEW

 We knew we were going to love this recycling bin right away.  Why?  Well because of all of it's features.  First we love the look of it.  It's black, very sleek and is going to look good in our house.  It's big, but not too big.  We can easily fit this into our pantry but it also looks good in our kitchen if we choose to put it there.

We love the built in handles on each bin.  Maybe one is fuller than the other, no worries just grab the convenient handles and off you to go to empty it into wherever your recycling is stored for pick-up or transport.

We love how easy the top bin's lid lifts up and love the easy tilt out feature of the bottom bin.  Just press the bottom ledge with your foot and you don't even have to touch it to put your trash or recycling into it.  We are using this strictly for recycling but love that you can put a trash bag in the bottom and use it for that as well.  You will love the Liner-Lock bag management on the bottom.  You simply put a trash bag in and lock the handles over the bag so you will never have to worry about your bag slipping off and making a huge mess.  I know you have all had this happen you to at one time or another.  I have and it's not fun trying to find the edges of the bag and worrying about trash spilling all over the place.  

This product is a great option for you if you need a 2 bin recycler or a recycler/trash bin.  It's very inexpensive, retailing at only $39.99.  It's easy to use, very convenient with lots of simple features that make it clean, tidy and it's very modern which we absolutely love!

Repechage - How to Wash Your Face and Proper Cleansing Techniques...Plus a product review!

You guys all know how I feel about Repechage products.  Repechage is a wonderful skincare line that is sold at the Finest Resorts and Spas Worldwide since 1980. 

Repechage recently sent me 2 more of their products to review and I'm excited to share them with you today!  One of my biggest concerns is my eye area.  As I am getting older I have noticed a few fine lines around my eyes and they drive me CRAZY!  I tend to wear more eye makeup than anything else.  I like to play with different eye shadow colors, liners, mascara etc... and I have not taken the right steps to remove my eye makeup which might have helped create these fine lines I am now dealing with around my eyes.  

Repechage sent me their Opti-Cleanse Extra Gentle Non-Oily Eye Make-Up Remover ($27) AND they shared a video with me of their Corporate Educator, Lauren Streeter who demonstrates "How to Wash Your Face and Proper Cleansing  Techniques" which I really enjoyed.  I was definitely doing things wrong and learned a lot from this video.  I'm excited to be able to share it with you all below...

I wasn't using an eye makeup remover before and this has made a huge difference in getting all of my eye makeup off.  This super gentle oil free formula foams gently to remove eye make-up thoroughly, then rinses off clean without leaving any residue. Perfect for the delicate & sensitive eye area. It's also Hypo-allergenic and fragrance free.  I am a contact wearer and a lot of things bother my eyes, not this one.  It's just amazing how something can be so gentle but still get the job done!  

The next product they sent to help with my eye concerns was their Vita Cura Opti Lift Serum ($56) which gives you an instant lift around your eyes!  Based on patented technology and advanced science, Repêchage Vita Cura^® Opti-Lift Serum utilizes a three-dimensional biopolymer from Pure Almond Protein that creates a net-like structure to instantly "lift" out the appearance of lines and wrinkles for immediate and dramatic results. I also love this product!  Just the tiniest bit applied around the eyes gives your eye area a little pick-me-up.  It only take a few a few seconds to apply and let it dry and the results are awesome!  I would highly recommend both of these products!  I know I am not getting any younger and products like these are just so great in helping me stay looking young :-)

All New Road Rippers Vehicles by Toy State Review...

 

If you come to our house you will find cars, trucks and other toy vehicles in the toy box.  My two boys love anything that has wheels and drives around.  So when we were recently sent several new vehicles from Toy State they thought it was Christmas all over again!

Toy State is the maker of Road Rippers, Road Rippers R/C, DUB Garage, Ripp's Garage, CAT, CAT Preschool and Freedom Force toys.  We are huge fans of this company and their products.  I'm sure if you have boys you are familiar with this brand already and if not you must check them out.

The Toy State Road Rippers line has several New Products out and they sent us several to review,  let me show you what they sent...

First they sent us 2 of their Road Rippers Flash Rides - Flash Rides are cool free-wheeling vehicles styles with lights and sound features.  They are easy for kids to hold in one hand and drive around.  Perfect for kids to take with them everywhere they go as they are fairly small.  These are recommended for ages 3+  which is how old Grady is.  He has loved playing with these and takes them with us everywhere we go!

The next product is the Road Rippers Wheelie Bikes.  Both boys LOVE these.  They are 

motorcycles that work with the push of a button.  When pushed the Wheelie Bike's motorized drive function  kicks in and triggers its signature pop-a-wheelie feature. With realistic motorcycle sounds and fun music your kids will have so much fun with these exciting bikes!

They also sent us a Road Rippers Wheelie Power car- Oh my the boys absolutely loved this one too.  The Wheelie Power vehicles also have pop-a-wheelie action along with lights, sounds and music effects. They love seeing it go up on 2 wheels and drive around the floor.

Last but not least they sent us 2 of their Road Rippers Come Back Racers which were the boys favorite out of all of them.  These are so awesome as they first drive forward and then, just like their name says they stop and come rolling back to you in reverse!  These feature realistic lights, racing sounds, vocals and great licensed music! 

They love starting all the vehicles at the same time and watching them race around, they dance to the lights and music and have had so much fun with each one! 

We would 100% recommend any of the Road Rippers toys.  Toy State makes quality toys that are fun and entertaining.  They are also very affordable which makes parents very happy!  My boys have played with these so much and their friends think they are so cool too.  Even my niece loved playing with these this week when she stayed with us.  She loved the lights and music on them.

I have loved every product that I have had the opportunity to try so far.  So when they recently sent me the Belezza Blush/Bronzer Duo ($28) to try of course I got excited! 

This Brush/Brozer Duo fits perfectly into the Square Crystal Compact that is sold separately for $18.  I love this compact because you can fill it with eyeshadow quads, blush and bronzers or their foundation. The  products are magnetic so they stay in place making your makeup secure in the case.  You can also store a Cattiva brush as shown in the above photo, above the product and there is also a mirror making it easy to apply anywhere you go!

I have been wearing this blush/bronzer duo almost every day since receiving it.  The colors are so natural and you can wear them all over for a full/face glow or you can use them to contour the face.  Spring is almost here and this duo is perfect for giving you that healthy glow without being out in the sun damaging your skin.  

 

 

I just love the subtle glow it gives to my cheeks!  I would definitely purchase the blush/bronzer duo again!  I love that you can buy the full refill OR you can just purchase a 1/2 moon of either the Diva Blush or Diva Bronzer if you use one more than the other and they are only $12 a piece if you buy them that way!
