Knot Genie Detangling Brush Review and Give-a-way ends on 02/03/2013...

The longer my hair gets the more tangles and knots it gets in it. The hair underneath on the nape of my neck is the worst place for tangles and it hurts when I try to brush it out. It's so sensitive in that area and no matter what brush I use, it still hurts. I recently heard about a Detangling Brush called the Knot Genie and had to write them about their product.

The Knot Genie and their Teeny Genie Detangling Brushes were created for every mom that has endured the foot stomping and screaming matches that come with brushing their child's hair. With the Knot Genie even the curliest, most knotted up hair practically slips through the unique bristle configuration. It's different than your average hair brush. It is specifically designed to detangle the hair and remove the knots gently and painlessly. The magic trick behind the brush is that it has different lengths of teeth on the it. When brushing, the teeth bend just right, to gently untangle the hair. And because of this lack of stress, the hair's cuticle stays unharmed... revealing the smoothest, shiniest hair you've ever seen.

The Knot Genie also handles like a dream. Its unique cloud-shaped design fits the palm of your hand nicely, whether you are left handed or right, which means it feels more like an extension of your hand than a grooming tool making the brushing process far more comfortable, gentle, and most importantly, gets the job done quickly.

 - REVIEW -

Knot Genie sent me their "Camo Cloud" Knot Genie Brush for review. As a former hairstylist I was a little skeptical if this brush would really get the knots out of my hair easily, without causing any breakage. So I gave it a try...

and I am happy to let you all know that it actually works! I've used many brushes and they just pull  the tangles, or get caught on them. The more you try to pull the knots out, the more hair the brush pulls out to. The Knot Genie really did glide gently through my tangles. I've used it on my wet hair and dry hair and it left my hair knot free and it didn't hurt --love that part.

If you have hair prone to knotting or your child's hair gets tangled easily, I would highly recommend you giving this a try. The brush has a different look to it with no handle to hold, but as you can see in the photo above it fits perfectly in your hair, making it easy for you to use.

The Knot Genie and Teeny Genie Detangling Brushes come in many different colors. The Knot Genie retails for $19.99 and the Teeny Genie for only $14.99.
