Since I've been on this hair, skin and overall dryness kick we might as well talk about some great products that will combat dry hair this winter! Whether your hair is straight, curly or overly dry from color and heat styling tools I'm excited to share some of my favorite products with you that will help get some life and shine back into those dry strands.
First let's talk about JOICO K-PAK products. Found only in salon's these products will be your hero and your new bff's if you have really damaged hair. I love the the shampoo and conditioner and the new K-PAK RevitaLuxe Restorative Treatment will repair years worth of damage while protecting strands from future damage, leaving hair stronger, softer, shinier and more moisturized with each application!
Another great treatment for dry, damaged hair is the Ouidad Curl Recovery Melt-Down Extreme Repair Mask. This self-heating deeply hydrating mask pampers hair with a subtle warming sensation as it supplies loads of moisture back into dry locks. Simply put it on wet or dry hair and leave it in for about 10 minutes and hair will feel silky smooth again. This can be found in many salons or at your favorite Ulta store. It makes my hair feel great!
If you're looking for something a little more affordable then the Organix Luxurious Moroccan Argan Crème Sheer Opulence Masque is a great choice that can be found at drugstores. It's extra moisturizing and will help hydrate dry hair without breaking the bank!
Last, but not least is another fave of mine the Mercola Extra Virgin Coconut Oil. Yes it's great for cooking, but has many other uses and one of them is for hydrating hair. Simply cover hair in the coconut oil over night with a shower cap on and wash it out in the morning. Your hair will be super hydrated and soft. It's also great for smoothing on skin after your shower to leave skin feeling smooth and smelling great too!
I hope these products help you if you are experiencing dry hair this winter. They have been life savors for me! Do you have any other great products for dry hair that I should know about?
