The Bento Box is the perfect solution for packing lunches as we head back to school!

As we start to gear up for back-to-school we must think about packing those kids lunches once again. So today I'm excited to introduce you to the Bento Box by Monbento.

"Bento" is a Japanese term referring to a meal in a container that is eaten outside the home. Deeply set in the Japanese food culture, they come in a variety of shapes and colors. Bentos can be used anywhere: in the train, at work, on a walk, in the park, at school etc… the possibilities are limitless. The Japanese use them every day to carry their homemade lunches to work or for their kids to eat at school. Eco-friendly and reusable, bento boxes are a perfect alternative to disposable packaging. As you can keep the leftovers from your lunch, you avoid wasting food.

We were recently given the opportunity to try out a MB Original Bento Box and it's perfect for kids going back to school. It offers 2 containers with 2 individual lids and caps on each so that you are able to microwave the contents if needed. It also offers 1 container divider so that you can put 2 separate foods in one container without having them touch. The Original Bento comes is a variety of colors and offers generous space for packing kids lunches.

We were also sent the MB Pocket Nomad Cutlery and the MB Temple Sauce Cup. The cutlery set features a stainless steal fork, spoon and knife, all fit nicely under the upper lid of the MB Original. The sauce cup is perfect for packing things like ketchup, sweet and sour sauce or even salad dressing.

I love that everything is compact and fits together nicely. The items are also all dishwasher safe, which is important to a busy family like ours!
