Produce for Kids and Meijer team up to help families eat healthier and support nutrition education...

(The Jackson Five Family received a comlimentary gift card to help facilitate this feature. However, all opinions are honest and our own!)

Produce for Kids and Meijer are hosting their third annual Healthy Families, Helping Kids campaign which promotes consumption of fresh produce while supporting nutrition education efforts. The campaign educates families on the benefits of healthy eating and will raise money for nutrition education through Jump with Jill, a music-based health program for kids.
Since 2002, Meijer has raised more than $1 million for local children’s organizations and you can help raise even more by simply visiting your local Meijer store this week in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, or Kentucky to help bring Jump with Jill to schools! Look for the Produce for Kids display in the fresh produce section featuring The Very Hungry Caterpillar. There you will find a shopping list of participating produce companies, along with easy, healthy family friendly recipes. When you purchase fruit and veggie products on the list from those participating they will make a consumption-based donation to Jump with Jill!
