Unilever is launching “Rinse. Recycle. Reimagine.” a new program in partnership with Keep America Beautiful and the Ad Council designed to educate people about recycling in the bathroom, inspire them to reimagine what empty bathroom products could become through recycling, and ultimately make a small change that holds big potential to positively impact the environment.
Sometimes our priorities are not what they should be. I'll admit that I'm just as guilty as the next when it's comes to recycling --It's something that takes so little time and with a little extra effort it can make such a big impact in this world, but we often forget about it or simply don't choose to do it.
Unilever the maker of products including Dove, Suave, St. Ives, Caress and more recently launched their 'Rinse.Recycle.Reimagine' program which educates people about the importance of recycling those bathroom products and they encourage YOU to help make a change! We'll go out of our way to get a drink when thirsty, charge our cell phones when they're about to go dead etc., but we're often too lazy to walk an empty plastic bottle from the restroom to our recycling bins. Those empty bottles don't have to continue filling up our landfills, instead they can be turned into something great like hairbrushes, backpacks and even our kids favorite backyard play sets!
Clean up your bathroom act and help spread the word about Unilever's Rinse.Recycle.Reimagine program by sharing a photo of your bathroom empties being recycled on Twitter and Instagram. When you use the hashtag #ReimagineThat, add #sweeps to your post and tag @UnileverUSA you'll be entered for a chance to win recycled, reimagined prizes!
The sweepstakes runs from now until June 9th and there will be daily prizes (42 in total) given away! The grand prize is a $500 gift card!
