Lysol® Partners With Ali Larter To Help Parents Create A Healthy "Social Network" For Their Babies

The Jackson Five Family received a complimentary product sample to help facilitate this feature. However, all opinions are honest and our own!

Lysol has partnered with mother of two and actress, Ali Larter to help raise awareness of the networks you and your baby are unknowingly growing on a daily basis. Ali jokingly stated that her daughter has a bigger social network than she does... except that it's not on Instagram or Twitter, it's a germ network --gross #LYSOLTHAT
It's no big secret that babies love to touch things --believe it or not young children can touch and re-touch more than 300 surfaces in a matter of just 30 minutes and many of them are common items like TV remotes, shoes and cell phones.
To help educate new parents across the country about germs, Ali has come up with several tips to create a healthier environment, while still letting baby's curiosity thrive.

  • Understand the Size of Your Baby’s Social Network. “Recently, I learned that my baby’s social network is bigger than my own. I’m not talking about Twitter, or Instagram ... but the number of germs that she comes into contact with every day. It’s important to be aware of these “followers” and to kick them out of the home by disinfecting commonly touched surfaces with products that kill 99.9% of germs like Lysol Disinfecting Wipes so you can have peace of mind and focus on the fun parts of being a new parent!”
  • Create a Germ Free Runway. “My kids’ curiosity and desire to explore is high these days. Whether they are crawling, playing, or running around, they’re constantly coming into contact with the floors in our house. One of the simplest ways to help create a healthier runway for their play is to keep germs at a minimum outside and have guests take off their shoes before entering the home.”
  • Know when to disinfect. “In addition to regularly disinfecting commonly touched surfaces, it’s important to disinfect areas after making a mess. When I’m cooking with my kids, and we accidentally break raw eggs on the counter, that’s a mess that needs to be cleaned up and disinfected! Raw eggs are at risk of housing bacteria that cause foodborne illnesses, which is definitely something a mom wants to avoid.”

As a mom of two boys I know how germy a house can get and I love the line of products from Lysol that can help keep germs away. From Lysol Disinfecting Sprays to Disinfecting Wipes to their newer Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap Dispensers it's a brand of products I trust and always have on hand to keep our house clean!
